Description
Appellant Robert Leon was charged by indictment with the felony offense of theft of property with a value of $1,500 or more but less than $20,000. Tex. Pen. Code Ann. 31.03(a), (e)(4)(A) (Vernon Supp. 2003). Appellant pleaded not guilty and waived his right to trial by jury. The trial court found him guilty and assessed punishment at two years confinement in a state jail facility, probated for five years, and a $1,000.00 fine. As a condition of probation, the court ordered restitution to the complainant and multiple other entities. In three issues appellant challenges the legal and factual sufficiency of the evidence and the trial courts authority to compel appellant to make restitution to anyone other than the complainant named in the indictment. We affirm.
